​​​​"Our 1987 tracker pipe organ suffered damage from the change in alloy by pipe builders in that era on our 8' Principal rank. We shipped the collapsed pipes in 2022 to a shop where they were reinforced. The shipping crate was damaged on the return trip, and several pipes were dented. Two years later, three of those pipes began to show deterioration, one collapsing around the foot and two appeared to be showing some chemical reaction that disfigured the bottom of the pipe. We contacted Moeller Pipe Organs, and Constantin Moeller responded immediately. Instead of shipping the pipes to him, he offered to come out to Alberta to fix them here, and then go over the whole organ. When he looked at the pipes, he replaced the tip of the collapsing pipe, and discovered that the two disfigured ones had reinforcing metal glued into the foot with very poor craftsmanship. Excess glue had a chemical reaction with the metal, bubbling it on the outside and collapsing the reinforcing metal on the inside. Constantin cut the pipe foot into 4 pieces, removed the glue, reshaped the reinforcing metal, and soldered it back together. He is an exquisite craftsman who takes great pride in his work. He did the same repair on the other similarly affected pipe. Then he removed the shipping dents in all that were affected by the damaged shipping crate. After repairing the pipes in such a way that one cannot see any evidence of the repair, he went over the whole organ. He found and fixed a few air leaks, and tuned it. Now it sounds and looks like new. Constantin communicates well and does fine work. I recommend him without reservation."
